Abstract

The purposes of this study were to examine the motivation levels of full-time and part-time students and to evaluate the differences in motivation between them regarding Physiological needs, Safety needs, Social needs and Esteem needs toward learning while in the Vietnamese language course at Faculty of Vietnamese Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities  – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City. The sample size in this study included 118 full-time students and 261 part-time students. Furthermore, the Cronbach’s alpha and Independent t-test was used to analyze the data in this study.
